Widget: Universal Widget & Universal Widget Light

NEW! My new Universal App is compatible with watch face complications, so it can be launched directly from a watch face (System 6 and touchscreen required):

At the moment Universal App can be launched from Glance Dual Screen only (besides launching it normally), but compatibility is coming to all my watch face apps.

Universal App has slightly reduced functionality compared to Universal Widget. Arc bars and colors selection are removed. If you already bought Universal Widget, you don't need to pay for Universal App - just use the same code.

This is a new approach to widgets, unlike anything else I saw before. I consider it an extension of the watch face screen. Whatever data you are missing on the watch face, you can put here and access it at one touch. There are some unique metrics too, not available on the watch face (widget is an app, so it can do more).

Some of the app's features highlights:

Weather: both, from Open Weather and Garmin Weather.
Heart rate, pressure, and altitude graphs.
All metrics (around 40 to choose from) are customizable.
2 sets of long fields values (switched by pressing SELECT button).
Full colors customization - make it your own !

The Pro version of the app has a limitited list of supported watch models - unfortunatelly it is related to the limited memory available to widgets on watches not supporting Music .

However, the free Light version supports most watches. Due to a limited available memory (60K for widgets on a lot of watches), the Light widget has a limited number of features in it - see app description for a list of differences between Universal Widget and Universal Widget Light.

1. All metrics are set / changed in the app settings. Use Connect IQ to access them.

2. There are always 2 pages - they changed by pressing ENTER button or tapping on the screen for touch screen…

I am testing your widget - seems useful

Two questions if I may

1. I can see some number a the top field (it changes from time to time) - what's that and how can I remove /change it?

2. At The begining I had "two pages/screens" but nów there is only one and I don't know why

2. There are always 2 pages - they changed by pressing ENTER button or tapping on the screen for touch screen models. Hovewer, only 2 long fields change (second from the top and bottom). All other fields and bars stay the same.

Would it be possible to add more/different options for the long fields? I don't use graphs so in fact I can't really use them

Body battery, resting hr, current hr, stress level, last activity etc

Body battery and stress level are not available, all others are short fields and won't look good in a long metric.

Suggestion - It would be great if the wind direction were presented with an arrow beside the speed, rather than letters. For example, instead of 10 W, it would be 10 ->, which shows the way it is blowing assuming you are north-facing. (a wind from the west is blowing in an easterly direction). A N wind would have a downward arrow, a southwind an upward arrow. There would be 8 possible arrow directions. This is quicker to visualize than using letters and needing to translate that to the actual wind direction in your head.

Thanks. I tried the arrow before - it is really hard to see, so I switched to letters permanently.

Great App! One quick question... is it possible to add any other data fields from current Widgets to show on the app? For example, I use Dexcom continuous glucose and the app works with Garmin. I'm just trying to see if I can get that data source to populate on your app somehow.

Garmin doesn't allow any sharing of data between apps, so anything you have in the other widgets/apps is not available anywhere else. The only way to get that data is to write the same code as in other apps.
