Our engineering team is actively working on this issue. It has been given a high priority and we hope to have a permanent solution available soon.
A workaround that worked for me was change one of the planned workouts a little (added 1sec to a training) and then is wants to upload all planned workouts again. This solved the problem for me at least…
The solution is much simpler, and was mentioned many times in this thread, as well as in many other ones about similar topics. Simply add any dummy workout (it can be completely unrelated to the coach…
Update: As suggested by one of the post, I added one second to tomorrow’s schedule run on my Garmin app and synced again. Now the workouts for the rest of this week show up in the training calendar my…
the calendar refuses to sync again, please fix!
Hi Blake, when this will be fixed?
more than 30 days?
thx.
It seems to be taking a long time. Is there any hope this will be fixed soon? It's very annoying.
This is happening to me as well on my Forerunner 220. I have tried downloading my calendar training plan workouts through my macbook and iphone. When I get to the calendar section and click the top right three dots, I don't see the usual "send to my device" message. Instead it says "view compatible devices" and then takes me a to a screen that shows that my watch is connected and other useless information. I've never had this issue before in all my years of using this feature. I called Garmin support but was told (after a long time of them trying to understand my problem) that I need to hang tight and that other people are dealing with it too - very helpful. I was not told a timeline, however. This is very disappointing as this is one of the main reasons people spend a lot of money on these watches.
I have the exact same issue on Garmin 735xt. Factory reset of the watch and reinstall of the app didn't help. The planned workouts in the calendar are being downloaded and appear under "My Workouts", but the calendar just shows the "Download you training calendar from Garmin Connect" message...
Considering that Garmin just released the new calendar APIs that allow automatic sync with Training Peaks and other training platforms, which is supposed to replace the Training Peaks Daily Workout app, it's very disappointing to see that Garmin is (again) letting us down with this unreliable calendar feature...
I have the same issue on my Garmin 230. It would be nice if we could at least manually download the training calendar to our watches while waiting for a fix. My workouts are being updated on the watch, I did have to go in and clean out some of the older workouts so that I could find them more easily.
