All,
As I'm sure you've seen, we have a fix for this in Beta 15.09. Please see Enrolling in and Learning About Garmin Beta Software Program for instructions to enroll.
I am going to go ahead and…
This is a basic functionality problem in a premium watch that has existed since the release in one form or another. Shame on you Garmin! This should have been taken care of a long time ago by a dedicated…
Thank you all for your comments, we definitely read them and are aware of the on-going concern. We are still planning on releasing a fix in an upcoming Beta. We will make sure and announce when it is available…
I have been missing LTH updates since the 23rd of December (back then on 13.22 firmware, currently on 14.15). I am running with my 955 7days per week, 2 of them being higher HR workouts (tempo, threshold…
I did an interval session today after deleting the running hr settings from the watch. For the first time since September I got a change in VO2max and a point on the gc graph for lactate threshold (unchanged, but a dot on the graph). However, the watch value for lactate threshold has not updated, and still shows the same value and a date of June 21st
Does your watch show today's lactate date?
No. Still showing June last year!
Just did a guided lactate threshold test which was detected by the watch and synced to connect (took no chances and disabled wifi and bluetooth to force a sync by cable).
connect.garmin.com/.../10561243890
Watch says 3:49 and 159bpm while connect says 3:50 and 159bpm but lets blame that on a rounding error.
Wonder if future intervals will now also lead to new threshold detections as well, will sync by cable the next few times initially to rule out the other issue where syncing it over BT/wifi didn't seem to work.
Btw, think these values are actually still off (think my threshold heartrate is higher and pace as well, based on a 10k, but would need to do a labtest to really validate current values again) but ok, lets first see if something actually gets detected from now on.
