Forerunner 955 Golf App - Shot measurement and Auto Shot Detection is not working after latest software update. I tried to manually measure a shot but that does not work either.

Did this ever get sorted mine still doesn’t work and I contacted Garmin support and they aparently had no knowledge of the issue even though it’s all over the forums?

Just would like to get on the list to find out when this might get fixed. Just got it for Xmas and obviously doesn't work. So yes to all those permission questions.

Just wondering how long is it going to take for this issue to be resolved? It's been 4 months and no updates, why is it taking so long considering that this features has been around in my previous Fenix and FR945 watches

No idea but i saw there is a software update yesterday. I have not installed. did anyone install and try if the update address the issue?

Just synched my watch and it said it was up to date so I don't see any new update available. Did do a map update a couple of days ago but that shouldn't have any effect on this. A S/W update for the mobile app or PC wouldn't seem to make any difference either as the problem is on the watch. Maybe I'm just not getting notified of the update? Did just get the update and installing. I see Jim did not find it useful.

Pretty amazing how horribly Garmin has handled this. They've completely neglected / ignored us. Wasn't expecting this.

Received the update to 13.23 yesterday and as luck had it, I was playing golf today. Autoshot detection still doesn't work. I wasnt hopeful. I looked for some release notes and didn't see autoshot detection mentioned. This feature isn't broken on every watch model. It would be a nice gesture if Garmin decided to ship a working device to all of us.
