Event day notification every day!?

There was a bug recently, with only rest days in Daily Suggested Workouts. Here's a link to the forum thread:

There's also a new feature in the newest firmware, which gives you a daily summary every day around 8-9 pm. Here's a thread with how to disable them:

Hi Garmin-Sierra I am having the very same issue on the 965. Every day is an “event day”, as well as the suggestions not working since. Feel free to reach out if you need anymore info. Software version is 17.26

I'm also experiencing this issue recently for my Garmin 255S. It'd be great to have a proper fix to this! Garmin-Sierra do you have a fix / suggestion for this?

I am also having this exact same issue on my Forerunner 255.

Everyday at 8:05pm, I get the Event Day round up notifications, with my daily suggestions showing a Rest Day for the next three days.

Is anyone able to help?

I am running firmware v 17.26. My wife dose not have this issue on her Forerunner 255s. Before and after a recent update to v 18.22.

I'm having the same problem, although interestingly my watch is a Forerunner 255S.

I get the daily evening update that I had an event day, though my last event was at the start of February, and as a result my suggested runs don't update. 

The firmware has updated a couple of times since this issue started but it hasn't fixed it. I'm currently on 18.22 as well.

I reset my watch (Settings > System > Reset > Reset Default Settings) and that seemed to fix this issue. Although that required me reconfiguring things like my watch face and timers again as if it was out of the box. My data remained.
