Garmin HRM-Dual not working

Garmin HRM-Dual not working after less that 1 year. Should i change the battery? The spec states battery should last about 2-3 years. Any advice?

Mine show 72bpm and stop.. done this procedure and now doesn't connect to my edge.

I have a strange problem wit my dual HRM band. Its new. The Edge finds it and connects to it, but the HR is intermittent. shows and disappear. Once I pull the band and release it shows fpr a few seconds and go waay again. I bought a new one thinking that my previous one was damaged, having the same behavior, but I got exactly the same problem. Any suggestion ?

Have you contacted Garmin Support. They are generally good at assisting / replacing when there are issues.

Well I did contacted Garmin support and they dos exchange the banda. I did not test it yet. Meanwhile I am using a decathlon banda working perfectly.

This is the best solution! Finally gave up on the Garmin HRM and also went with Polar. Fully agree, the Polar “works like a charm.” It connects, stays connected, and creates readings for the full duration of my longer bike rides. It paired fine with my Garmin bike computer.

having the same issue and mine has been working OK up to the point I updated it and some other updates for my 830 and apps. looks like its a software issue from the update as mine worked fine upto now. Garmin sort it out ASAP please not happy
