I'm experiencing many connection dropouts during my workout between Edge 1030 and Neo 2T.
Here an example where you can see how many time the signal goes to ZERO values:

This is the official Garmin answer to the email that I sent to the support:
Hi, I've just bougth the Tacx NEO 2T one week ago. It seems a great product (and I hope it :D) but I have a 2 big problem. …
(Problem persists after FW 0.0.32). I was quite busy the last couple of days, but I updated the neo2t to FW 0.0.32. as soon I read about the FW here.
I am still experiencing the drop outs. From my steady…
I have the same issue on a new Tacx Neo 2T in the year 2024 with the newest firmware!
ANT+ on an Edge 530.
My other powermeters (pedal and crank based) have no dropouts at all.
Unfortunately, I am also very frustrated with the NEO2 connection to the Edge 1030. The FW0.32 did not bring any improvement or remedy. I always record the rides parallel to Zwift on the Edge. It needs it for the training analysis (aerobic, anaerobic). I hope TACX gets it in the next update.
Meant as as a reply to dahs1e, 2 months ago:
You can trnscode fit to csv as follows:
Download the free sdk from: https://github.com/dgaff/fitsdk
Under subdir java there is: FitToCSV.bat. Read the instructions and you will be able to make a csv file from a fitbit file.
Attention: some records can be mis-transformed.
Next step could be making some vba in Excel to format the csv file and go analyzing!
Made a primitive version for Garmin bitfit-files in Excel.
Greetings,
Same issue here regular Power & Cadence dropouts every 4-5 min on my new Neo 2T & Edge 1030
Neo 2T f/w 0.0.32 ANT pairing of all sensors to Edge 1030
Edge 1030 f/w 9.10
Dropping problem is caused by edge 1030
When I connect to tacx neo 2 using fenix 6x, it will not drop
When I connect tacx neo 2 to edge 1030, the message will drop.
It might be because the neo has a trainer FE-C pairing to the Edge1030 as well as the Power & Speed/Cadence sensors where the Fenix 6 will be sensors only. I don't have another device which can pair the Neo as a trainer though I have seen posts on the Edge 830 forum where people are also seeing it on their units. With those units having similar firmware I suspect it may somehow related to the ANT firmware on the newer Edge series computers
The two pictures are recorded at the same time
Yes that's exactly what I'm experiencing. I've raised a support ticket with garmin to see if i can get it resolved. If you wanted to do the same you could also reference my ticket

I've got a couple of Edge1030 units at my disposal at the moment & have been doing some testing to try & pinpoint the Power & Cadence dropout issues on the Edge1030.
I've had limited testing so far but at the moment the evidence seems to suggest the issue may be caused by having an Edge Remote paired to the Edge1030 even if it isn't connected.
Can I ask those who are seeing dropouts on their Edge computers let me know if they do or don't have an Edge Remote pairing to their Edge?
this is an interesting observation. I for my part indeed have an edge remote installed. Unfortunately, I won't be on my trainer again anytime soon to test it out.
Thanks for the quick response. Hopefully some more users will be able to pitch in & be able to do some testing.
One quick test would be to delete the Edge Remote pairing & see if there's any change in the dropouts on their device
