Vivoactive 4 Battery Drain

I have a similar case, but much worse. I charged it yesterday and just 20 hours after I disconnected it frome the power source, my watch only has 10% of battery. Notice that I only used its HR monitor while I slept and now that I've been awake. I did not used the PulseOx function or any other. Neither I went to run o listened to music. What did happen to my watch that I adquire in December 15th?

I had that for 2 days after update to 5.60, after that it works fine. 

HI there! Can you hold the power button for 45 seconds ignoring power off then turn the device back on and let me know in a day or so how the battery is holding up. 

Hi. I did try this. Nothing got better. I had 79% battery at 4PM today and by 5:00PM it was 72%. This sudden battery drain happens in the evening. Not much of activity then as well.

Same here. Since a couple of days ago my battery started to drain much faster than usual. I only have my HR track, no PulseOX, no fancy watch face, brightness at 10%, bluetooth off. I reset it (pushed the start button 15 secs) but it seems we are in the same situation. The battery is draining 5% per hour doing nothing, that means it wont' last 1 day when it used to last at least 6 days without activities.

Any answer from Garmin?

Hello! Can you reset the device to defaults by going to the settings on the device then system then reset to defaults. Then charge through the computer and let me know how the battery is within 48 hours.

Thanks. In resetting the watch now it got locked trying to pair with my phone for minutes and minutes. My phone’s Bluetooth is on and connected to the watch. 

The watch is not supposed to pair directly with the phone, but with the Connect app on the phone. Try to delete the pairing from the phone, open Connect, and pair it there.

Hey! Yes, as ovekvam mentioned it can not pair with the Bluetooth. Remove the connection and then open the Garmin app and pair again! Let me know if this works.
