Anybody know anything on when a new Flagship Edge is coming out?

This is a Garmin forum. JW asked a question about the 1040, either answer the question or keep out. This is not a Hammerhead or Apple forum, respect that!
I don't mean to be rude, but is there any way you guys can stop arguing about this already? Normally I wouldn't care in a forum. I can just scroll past all the bickering and pointless personal attacks…
it seems that the date is june
In my region the local online / retail prices for 530 / 830 / 1030+ have leapt by 15% - 25% in the last week, Garmin has very tight control of pricing so perhaps they are getting us conditioned to "new" higher pricing for X40s and leaving a little room for "discounting" (down to the previous level) of the soon to be "old" stuff.
It's not a question of distance but of practice. If you do races, gravel, Gran Fondo, with rain, wind, mud, your smartphone is not at all suitable. I can't see myself with my $1100 iPhone 13 Pro on my handlebars during a race, it's just not serious and amateurish. Moreover with the GPS activated, the screen on with the cartography, what is the autonomy of your smartphone? With my Garmin I ride all day without needing to bring a Powerbank.
Most of my distance was gravel. Strava shows 21 centuries and 329hr last year. Apologies if that isn't enough practice.
I'm still using my iPhone 12. I didn't realize I needed to upgrade to an iPhone 13 to be a serious cyclist.
Last weekend it was on the bars of my downhill bike taking videos at a lift-assisted park. I'm fairly sure mud was involved.
Strava shows several rides over 7 hours total time, and I've never run out of battery. If I took a powerbank, which I don't, it would be lighter and smaller than a Garmin.
I'm struggling to understand how you decide for me that my smartphone is not suitable for me, despite me actually happily using it for those purposes.
Be careful. I also drove about 8000km in a year, but on December 18, 2021 I broke the neck of the femur and now I have an artificial hip joint and I have not yet returned to proper condition. I met an old 40kg half-blind dog. So watch out.
