I selected Europe as the only region I want to install on my device.
However, GE keeps insisting on informing me that I can put additional maps onto the device- is there any way to remove this prompt?

This has been escalated with new Express logs on the latest version. I will update this thread when I have more information to share.
This is still an open ticket and I apologize for the lack of info. I understand it is frustrating to hear "we are still working on it" over and over, but it is also frustrating to hear nothing back.…
For folks seeing this issue in Express, could any of you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing exactly?
There is a lot of good description in the thread already, but I'm just looking for any additional…
Same issue here – super annoying.
Garmin Express informs me again and again that 5 item need to be updated. After successful download (either one or all five) the update(s) are applied. Then the…
I have called Garmin Support it's an issue with Garmin Express, I was told it should be fixed in the next GE update.
Seeing this as well. Tells me I have 5 maps to update. Over and over.
Same with me! worked after changing USB port from screen hub to front USB3. I don't understand itm but it works!
Have you tried adding a USB hub? None of the ports on my laptop worked directly but connecting the 1030+ via a hub worked. This similar to what I have:
www.amazon.co.uk/.../B07V7QSW4V
The opposite worked for me. However, this is not a usb problem but the garmin application. Yet there is not a word from garmin on this.
Today I have used an internal 5 inch bay hub, so not direct to my mainboard, and until now it looks like it is installing something. So a real usb hub could be the solution... I thought a different usb port was enough, the hub thing did it...
Unbelievable! I tried everything (re-installing, etc.) and finally the solution was to take out the mousedongle and connect the Edge to that USB-port. Now it's updating.
By-the-way I'm using W10 and GE7.4.2
GE7.6.0 is still not good because it keeps on asking login....
bought 1030 plus today and were happy until i plugged it to pc and got message that maps are available. first got info that there is not enough space, ok then i've uninstalled USA, still not enough place, uninstalled europe. and i get error that it couldn't be synced. tried other ports, tried unplugging other usb devices, nothing helped.
uninstalled express and after i've installed it again i get error that they can't add new device because servers are not working atm.
to be honest ... it's long time since i've been so pissed.
i take 1 day to cool off, if i don't get it fixed by saturday, i'll return the product.
