I selected Europe as the only region I want to install on my device.
However, GE keeps insisting on informing me that I can put additional maps onto the device- is there any way to remove this prompt?

This has been escalated with new Express logs on the latest version. I will update this thread when I have more information to share.
This is still an open ticket and I apologize for the lack of info. I understand it is frustrating to hear "we are still working on it" over and over, but it is also frustrating to hear nothing back.…
For folks seeing this issue in Express, could any of you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing exactly?
There is a lot of good description in the thread already, but I'm just looking for any additional…
Same issue here – super annoying.
Garmin Express informs me again and again that 5 item need to be updated. After successful download (either one or all five) the update(s) are applied. Then the…
I have called Garmin Support it's an issue with Garmin Express, I was told it should be fixed in the next GE update.
Seeing this as well. Tells me I have 5 maps to update. Over and over.
Exactly what I get on Windows 10 Pro desktop - everything showing as "Other". However on my work laptop (also Windows 10 Pro) it works fine.
Sadly not fixed for me. When I go into Manage Maps I still only have green/other showing and nothing else.
Same for me, still not fixed.
I have the 1030 plus since last summer and yesterday updated the maps for the first time. Using GE 7.4.2.0. I had to unselect first the North American maps because it seems there was not enough space to update it together with the European maps (although it was shipped with both maps and there was plenty of space left). GE removed the North American maps without issues, there was no need to manually delete the files. Next I updated the European maps and also that was immediately successful. When finished I had to unplug the 1030 plus and after connecting it again it reported there are no new updates. No issues at all, perhaps I was lucky, who knows?
I also noticed that for some regions I had the option to install the city navigator maps. What was missing in the list in GE were the topo Africa map. I did not remove it from my Edge, although if there is no option to reinstall this map I would not care as I will never use these maps anyway.
