Speed Sensor 2 pairing issues

I'm unable to pair the new Speed Sensor 2 in Garmin Connect Mobile, tried both Android and iOS phones. However, I was able to pair it on fenix and Edge devices in both BLE and ANT modes. Any help?

We believe this was resolved in a recent update. Please reply to this post if you are still unable to pair your Speed Sensor 2.

Is garmin support reading this forum? It’s unbelievable that after 2 years there are still the same pairing and data transmission issues!

Hi, I found out that my Speed Sensor was unable to pair but had a lot of automatically recorded activities stored. Whenever I tried to pair, it was unsuccessful but transferred a few activities to Garmin…

Same issue. It shows up in the device list but says attention required and won't pair. Transmits data too but I can't get to any of the settings.

I have the same problem. My speed sensor 2 can’t pair with garmin connect (iphone 8). It worked a week ago but has stopped working since. The sensor is found but can’t be paired.

I have the exact issue, it may have come from adding the cadence sensor. Initially it paired ok, but trying to figure out how to pair the cadence sensor may have jacked up the pairing for the speed sensor. Are you even supposed to pair the cadence sensor? or does it talk through the speed sensor?

I just bought the speed sensor 2 and cadence sensor, I´ve succesfully paired it with my iOs phone through Garmin Connect, green light working but after finishing any cycling session nothing is uploded to the app. What can I do? Please help me, I'm having a really hard time with this product.

Also had the same issue on Android. Removed sensor from BT manually added in connect and now working after a few attempts. Had device next to phone with battery removed started process on connect added battery now working fine after a few attempts
