This needs to be fixed asap. On CIQ watchfaces, the seconds only show with a gesture.
I did not buy an MIP watch to do arm gymnastic like I did on my AMOLED watch. Please fix this immediately and do NOT let the seconds disappear...

But yes, this is a forum, and we can debate.
To make a request to Garmin... you must contact Garmin.
However, small points are easier to implement for CIQ developers, as the time available for a screen update is extremely short.
Be that as it may, as I've tried to highlight over and over…
It has everything to do with Garmin, as they are the developers of the watchface.
It's a pity that we can't find out which watchface your complaint is about. I therefore assume that the developer…
Disappearing seconds are the standard on Garmin watchfaces, and you probably won't find any WF from Garmin showing seconds continuously, since that would drain the battery faster than the specifications claim. See the explanation in the article Why Does the Second Hand Disappear From My Watch Face? | Garmin Tuki
Pre-installed analogue watch faces found on Garmin watches have a 30 second timeout function for the second hand. The timeout function is designed to save watch battery, since refreshing the display is one of the most battery intensive features. Switching to a different screen and returning to the watch face will restore the second hand for another 30 seconds. Additionally, some watches will restore the second hand when movement is detected by the accelerometer.
Although it speaks about analogue WFs, the same apply for digital WFs too - see also this article: When Does Information on my Watch Face Update? | Garmin Customer Support
If you need continuously changing seconds, then you either have to find a CIQ watchface (rather non-Garmin), or you have to start an Activity and let it running in the background. Count with shorter battery life, though.
Not me that was asking, can't say I'm bothered to be honest.
Perhaps if you would have included the links at the first time of asking then other members could see instead of ranting it might have helped.
Don't think that's to difficult to understand either.
You have been answered before, twice.
they are the developers of the watchface.
Literally every single watchface from garmin released within the last year on the CIQ store
If you have reading comprehension problems, that's on you.
Would be interesting to know if that is something that only occurs with CIQ watchfaces or even the ones that are on the watch. On my Tactix 7 Pro, the (digital) second in the "original" watchfaces is always on!
The watchfaces on the fenix 8 solar have no disappearing seconds either. That's exactly how it should be. Anything else would just completely defeat the purpose of the MIP display.
This all boils down to how the developer implements it. Your best bet is to contact the developer via the Connect IQ app That way the feedback will reach the right team, it won't get anywhere through the forum.
That being said, there are custom watch faces with an option to enable seconds to be shown always - see Segment34 MkII.
Also did you check the settings in Connect IQ app? Maybe there is an option to always show seconds.

Thanks captain obvious. I'm well aware about the technology, most people here probably are. I don't really see how this is relevant for my request though. This isn't an open debate, this is a clear request to garmin. Thank you for understanding.
Have you rang Garmin and asked?
That would be the obvious thing to do.
