Even if you had all the fuctions, you'd still find a reason to complain.
What popped up on your phone? The ECG option or just the stupid news story? Because if it's the news story, I've been seeing this stuff for almost a year now...
Trust me, I'm in this business, just different brand. I know the nitty gritty details we cannot share with customers, just as Garmin cannot share with us (I'm a customer for Garmin, so don't know such…
I agree, I'm not talking about the optical sensor but the patent for the ecg..
Does the patent tell you can do ECG with an optical sensor? Could you quote it? The F7 does not have any other than optical sensor for taking the HR.
Thank god i didnt bought fenix 7. You pay premium price and dont get all functions. Most expensive watches should get new futures first.
And how exactly do you want it to happen, when the watch does not have the necessary hardware?
The F7 does not have any other than optical sensor for taking the HR.
But neither does the Apple Watch.
But neither does the Apple Watch.
Wrong. Apple Watch does have electrodes and the necessary sensors for the ECG already built-in. You have to hold one button with the opposite hand. That's how the watch can measure the electrical signals and record the ECG.
People tend confuse the 24h monitoring + alerts with the actual ecg reading that has you touch the digital crown.
It will be, but who knows when Fenix 8 will come out. I am in the market now but I can wait few more months. But i wont wait 2 more years for fenix 8. From fenix 6 to fenix 7 there was 3 years.
