Does the patent tell you can do ECG with an optical sensor? Could you quote it? The F7 does not have any other than optical sensor for taking the HR.

Thank god i didnt bought fenix 7. You pay premium price and dont get all functions. Most expensive watches should get new futures first.

And how exactly do you want it to happen, when the watch does not have the necessary hardware?

If you're the sort of individual that feels it's necessary to be taking an ECG regularly to monitor concerns with your heart, the Fenix range of watches is not right for you anyway.

Wrong. Apple Watch does have electrodes and the necessary sensors for the ECG already built-in. You have to hold one button with the opposite hand. That's how the watch can measure the electrical signals and record the ECG.

People tend confuse the 24h monitoring + alerts with the actual ecg reading that has you touch the digital crown.

So when Fenix 8 comes out with ECG fenix line won't be for you anymore?
