Fenix 7 Pool Swim is Giving No Distance

i have/had the Same problem 

first time it worked well 

second it didn’t 
I tried to switch off my Fsss but no movement recognition!!

now at home if I mimic swimming movements it works

Next week I will make another trying 

i had 8 swims with my 7x without issues.....

I have removed the activity and readded it. Will try again later in the week and see what it records. 

2 swim no issue, had issue with Epix 2, restarted (long press on light button untill restarts) and after that no problem SF was the latest

Yes. I've had the same issue. My son and I purchased Fenix 7 Solar's at the same time and have the same settings - his works fine but my watch doesn't record any distance. I've ensured I hit the wall solidly and have a strong push off so the watch (should) recognize I have completed a length and beginning another but unfortunately no distance is recorded.

I have contacted Garmin and sent them a heap of data but haven't hear back as yet.

Isn't this related to the fix that Garmin has just release in the new firmware update? Anyone has tested it in the new firmware?

Same problem! Three days ago it worked just fine, but yesterday my Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar didn't registrate any distance during my pool swim...  

Same problem this morning. I swam for about an hour and the distance stayed at 0. I spoke with customer service after and they said the new update (coming within the next few days) may be the fix to this problem.

I have software version 7.24 now so let's hope that has fixed it
