My Garmin Fenix 6 Saphire was low on battery yesterday and then it went dead.
It has happened before that suddenly the battery drops when charge is low.
Anyway, now I am trying to get it back to life but it seems as if the battery is not taking any charge.
If I unplug and plug in the charger the blue Garmin triangle appears for half a second then the screen goes immediately to the one with battery that appears empty (a reddish line at the bottom of the image of the battery) and that it is connected to a power source. But then nothing happens. I left it over night and nothing improved. As soon as I unplug the battery the watch goes dark (indicating that there is no charge at all in the battery). I remember that I have had some similar issues but they seemed random at the time and at the end the watch came back to life.
While the charging battery icon is present I try the hard reset combinations but nothing happens.
It seems thus that the battery perhaps is dead but I don't know why it would not work while connected to the power source.
Any help would be most appreciated.
