Fenix6s suddenly will not connect via USB or direct charge on any cable

This is a factory refurb just under a year old

Is there any known problem with the charge pins on the 6 like there was on the 5 series?

Down to 80% charge and cannot get it to go into charge mode with any of a dozen cables or power cubes.

When powered off it will suddenly now not turn on when power is connected.

Sigh it's always something.

Wish the 6 series had Qi charging as a fallback.

Sadly still not working for days now regardless of which of a dozen cables I try or different power source, USB data and charging is completely dead like a circuit has been broken inside.

I don't suppose there is any undocumented way to access data on the watch drive without USB ?

Always wished there was a way to browse it as a drive letter via bluetooth mount of some kind via some Garmin app.

I have stuff in \SCRNSHOT I would have liked to keep before I have to wipe it and send it in, down to very low battery now.

Did you try cleaning the connector on the back of the watch with isopropyl alcohol?

What you may try to just get things copied from the watch is keeping the cable connector firmly pressed to the back of the watch during connecting it to the computer and all through copying until you have everything. You may need three hands to do that.

And then reset and contact Garmin Support I guess.
