Thanks, I figured out my problem, my watch is a Fenix 6 Pro, even though it does not mention that in the about or anywhere else, I was trying the Fenix 6 firmware and that was the problem, once I used the 6 Pro, it's now working.
Hi, good to read, no problem we all have had a one one time joker
First I appreciate that Garmin is still updating there devices. However I'd really like to see the "memory error" fixed. I'm still limited with how many workouts I can install on the device at one time. When I check the devices actual memory it says I have 20.7 GB free of 29 GB. It's a head scratcher for sure.
And finally Check for Updates is now available through Bluetooth !
Added the ability to check for software updates via Bluetooth.
On wifi i cannot get updates, on bluetooth it says already up to date. However we still dont have option to change "title label" and different "alarm tones" only the one single alarm tone present and a handful of labels. Still.
Will this release fix the issue that when choosing a course on bike indoor, no proper resistance is transferred to the trainer nor the right altitude or ascent used?
I rolled back to 25.1 from 26.0 to overcome that issue.
Given that it deletes a couple of things on the watch even when transferring the relevant profiles etc. back on it, I would not want to install the latest firmware if that meant that this problem was coming back.
Many thanks in advance for an answer, Garmin - Chris

If you are willing to test and take the chance you might need to rollback to v25.10 again, I am advised this Beta will resolve the issue. However, we are looking for additional volunteers willing to test the Beta to provide us feedback on whether the issue resolved.
The current Beta phase is paused at this v26.85 version. Engineering posted in the Fenix 6 Beta Community thread that they found something they need to resolve first before the next Beta update will be released. The next Beta should be coming soon for those tracking the Fenix 6 series Beta updates.

By "this Beta" are you referring to v26.85?
However, we are looking for additional volunteers willing to test the Beta to provide us feedback on whether the issue resolved.
I'm running v26.85 on my f6X and have a Tacx NEO 2T. What level of feedback are Engineering looking for? (Due to bike availability will not be able to test until the coming weekend at the earliest.)

Thank you in advance. We greatly appreciate the information.
Should be able to manage that when the bike is available.
