It seems that Garmin has dropped Fenix 6X support. I moved to watch ultra last October and will never look back. Even my sister's old watch 5 got the new watchOS from day 1. I have seen very minor software improvements since I bought my Fenix 6X back in 2019 , Garmin just want to to push for useless upgrades. Even watch faces are considered "upgrades" and are locked to new watches. Sorry , never again.

We (Garmin) have not dropped Fenix 6 series software support. After 4 years of continuous updates, dozens of new features added, etc. The software update process will be slower. Which is normal for a watch series that has been in release 4+ years. The next software update is already in progress and will be coming soon.

It's not normal for those who have a $1,500 F6 Pro Solar to see their watch considered obsolete already after such a short time. There will be frustration, customer departure and exhaustion from having to constantly change... You are better off keeping your customer in the ecosystem than risking losing them and working to try to bring them back...
