Sorry for the late response. We are still working on updates for Fenix 6, and we will have more information on that soon!

Maybe but i would not count on it. Some of the bugs do not affect everyone. The 6 is at the end of life. Still a great product. Resources are going to be spent on the new products. That makes sense. My 6 is working great. The only issue is controlling a smart trainer following a course but i really do not use that. Speculation though.

It would seem like Garmin only has a few core developers and they are moved from watch to watch

Eventually they will shift back to Fenix6, hopefully, for at least one more major release before it becomes only bug fixes.

But once the Fenix 8 is released, we are doomed.
