Ok so I am 45 years of age and I am in pretty good shape.
My main go to cardio is skipping with weighted crossrope skipping ropes. So my issue is I'm trying to the point where my lungs are literally giving out but my heart rate is may be getting into the 150 range for a minute at most of my workout. Now there is a chance that my heart is in much better shape than my lungs but that would be very random. So my question is is anyone else middle-aged having any issues with their phoenix f6 recording their heart rate at higher levels or or is it a problem with my lungs not keeping up with my heart??
I am essentially training like an absolute demon anyone that has tried skipping or no what kind of cardio it is and how hard I try it's just constantly saying I am maintaining my fitness and I'm getting into 150 plus bom for no more than a minute of a 35 minute workout.
But appreciate any advice people can give, thank you.
