Fenix 6 Can't update TopoActive Europe Version 2021.20

Unable to load / install TopoActive Europe v2021.20
I just received refrubrished unit, got new one- and not being able to use it - because i got no maps.

By scrolling further down you'll see that they state 2021.20 for Europe. 2022.10 is for the other regions.

Generally you only need the .img map (Garmin). You copy it into the /Garmin directory on the watch. The Contour map with contour lines is optional.

The following versions are available:

Cycle Map 2022.10
TopoActive 2022.10

The available region coverage for these maps includes North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Jeez - even here incorrect information.
You cannot trust device spec - as it is not even close to what it stated - now even maps ?

In the past there were widespread issue that people couldn't update theri watches as the maps size was larger then the old. Later, it got resolved with some updates I reemember.

Personally, I prefer using maps from OpenTopoMap or Userbeam. They use the same OpenStreetMap source and updated weekly.

Interesting. Do you download only Garmin file or also Garmin Contour & Basecamp files ?

In the settings in each activity on the watch, you can enable or disable the maps.
