Personally - and I speak from experience having owned an F7 for a while, I would always take the readiness reading from Elite HRV / HRVTraining over Garmin's readiness…
Interestingly, I no longer see training readiness under the "edit my day" options in Garmin Connect mobile. Not sure at what point it went away ... 
Still there for me as well. Let's hope for the best!
