Unlikely. Isn't this an elevate 4 feature?
If you use something like Elite HRV which has given a 'Readiness' score for years + plus monitor your resting heart rate + know your own body (most…

If you use something like Elite HRV which has given a 'Readiness' score for years + plus monitor your resting heart rate + know your own body (most important of the lot) IMHO you don't need it even if you think you do.
One thing to point out - no 'Readiness' score knows if you are injured or not...so look at 'Readiness' holistically and use your own judgement - always listen to your body first and foremost.
EliteHRV (other HRV apps are available)
Thanks forbgreat advice!
Do u have a li k for elite hrv I'm not seeing it in connect it store?
It's not CIQ. It's for Android.
Perhaps there is a chance to get this feature on Fenix 6 in future? Looking at the items needed for the calculation of Training Readiness, looks like all of them are now present on F6, with recent addition of HRV Status and Acute Load. So it might be a simple thing for Garmin to provide us this feature, by combining the data that we already have on the watch. What do you think?

Why? Garmin's HRV score is very erratic, and is heavily influenced by sleep tracking - so it's collecting HRV while 'sleeping' even if you are actually awake, or maybe got up during the night. So the 'baseline' which is vital for HRV trending isn't consistent so a proper good nights sleep can up scoring you lower, due to inflated baselines.
Doing training readiness by a chest belt app + app is far more reliable and actionable. I think it's also fair to point out optical sensors are not even considered reliable for R-R readings anyway, hence the apps not even attempting to derive HRV from optical sensors.
Totally agree. HRV4Training have a lot of tags, so you can in addition to the HRV meassurement put in your own " feeling". They have also implemented manuell input for overnight average HRV readings from devices like Whoop, Oura and even Garmin for what the useless Firstbeat metrics is worth.
Not quite right about the optical sensor. Scosche rhytm24 is listed by HRV4training.
Is this an indication that we WILL get Training Readiness on our Fenix 6 ? Garmin - Chris
