Native music app causes watch to restart. Fenix 6X with 21.00

I'm starting to think that it is the BT connection from watch to earphones that does the bad thing. I will try my 10km walk/run as before, It lasts about 1hr 20min, but this time I will disable BT on the watch and listen to music from my phone.

We will see if the crash occurs again on 21.80 release.

I will update you guys. You can also try it.

That's unacceptable. Our devices 3 years into the product life cycle should not be crashing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm as eager as you are to get this fixed because it's clearly a Firmware issue. I had a sleep widget crash as well with v.21.00. The crashes with music and workout started to occur after v.21. Before that there has never been a crash.

Exactly the same here - I never saw a device reboot prior to 21.00 in over 16 months of using the F6. I've had 2 crashes since with 21.00 and beyond - one with music and one changing a workout target from W to HR

Same happened to me twice. On 21.00 amd later on 21.80. Happens after saving running workout whilst listening to music using builtin player. 

I've also had crashes since version 21.00 always the native music app, but also its crashed while looking at saved locations twice since version 21.00...

I also think it's not just the native music app, but more widespread.

Also crashes occur in or out of activity, while listening to music....worst software bug I've had without returning a watch. 

I suspect that this also happens during saving an activity while downloading stored heart rate data from a HR belt. I noticed a few times that the activity wasn't saved after I had chosen Save, and it needed a retry before it did save. And later there would be a new ram dump on the watch. I'll pay more attention to what exactly happens the next time I save an activity that relies on downloaded heart rate data.

UPDATE: Mine rebooted today after 22.10, even with the BT off. Was listening to music from the watch.

Garmin please fix your firmware.

I did pay more attention. The watch reboots as soon as 'searching for stored heart rate' appears.
