Skin rash and wound while using fenix 6. Still no answer from support

Thorough washing and cleaning with antibacterial&antifungal wet wipes helped me.

We have seen a few post like this, the general consensus to the cause was sweat between Watch and skin which when evaporated with the salts remaining and with a loose (ish) watch caused a bit of rubbing along with any potential bacterial infection thereafter.

but it could be anything like sensitive skin, being in the shower with it, having a damp watch when put the watch back on or something else.

I generally wash and dry the watch after each exercise as I had some issues when I first got the watch.

I had a major problem with my first Fenix 6 Pro and rashes - the black silicone band caused some bad problems - I found moving to a nylon band solved it. forums.garmin.com/.../back-to-official-garmin-silicone-strap---and-rash-within-3-days

For some reason the orange band of my Sapphire 6 does not cause the same rash.

But I would just replace it with a nylon band you can get from Amazon or Ebay/

Switch to a nylon strap. I've had zero skin issues since doing so
