Back to official Garmin silicone strap - and rash within 3 days

Hi

I bought my Fenix 6 Pro back in March this year, and within a few days of ownership got a quite severe rash. I replaced it with a cheap nylon strap which worked well rash prevention-wise and I stopped getting a rash over the last 3 months. Unfortunately I broke the 3rd party strap on Monday, and have gone back to the official Garmin strap - and now the rash is back within 3 days.

This 3rd party strap is actually very good but I was a bit forceful with it, and a plastic bit snapped. Also the Quikfit was metal and caused the compass to behave erractically - so can anyone offer a good alternative? I'm in the UK, and am happy to buy from Ebay or Amazon.

This is the rash after 3 days back with the Garmin strap - it got very itchy within 24 hours and inflamed within 72 hours. Before anyone starts making digs about hygiene, I have had a Polar V800 for 6 years also with a silicon strap and never get rashes from that. TIA.
