On navigation, I've chosen to see slerts on "turn prompts" and not on "final distance", but the view I got is final distance ...
Any solution other than reset? And if reset - how deep it should be?
Thanks

Okay. Your friend has the same setting (follow course)? How did you both get the course onto the watch? (Via Garmin Connect, komoot, USB etc...)
Thank you so much Matthias.
Earlier I added the gpx file by dropping it in the "newfile" directory after connecting the watch to the computer.
He used garmin connect.
I've just tried his way …
Oh, you want them to delete from komoot. I thought you mean the other way around. It's too late now, but when connecting Garmin with komoot, you can set it to only sync in one direction. So only from komoot…
Matthias, I'm trying Komoot right now. (especially since premium sale ending soon.) Very nice for US maps. Planning seems a little quirky. However, after connecting to GC on setup, it imported ALL of my activities (500!) and there is no way to bulk delete them. Only on-be-one.
Oh dear.... I thought it only Imports planned routes. I only had some planned routes in komoot when i connected it to GC
You mean to delete them from the watch vor from your Garmin account? To delete from watch, I would use a PC. From Garmin Connect there was a workaround described here how to bulk delete courses (never tested this though): forums.garmin.com/.../deleting-multiple-courses-from-garmin-connect
Matthias, I only meant that didn't want them all in Komoot. Undoubtedly I messed up. But there is no delete-all option. Connect is the only place I want the whole history. They dumped into Explorer, which was even messier and more inconvenient. But at least in Explorer I could check-all and delete. Otherwise it looks like this...

So only from komoot to Garmin and not the other way around. I would write to komoot support if they can clear your account.
Thanks for the locus map tip, much better than komoot. Is an OS map so in sync with wikiloc and my fenix OS map.
