anybody else have a 1 second delay from the watch face to a menu [ e.g the first press of the start button for activities or going from watch to widgets ] pls help its annoying

anybody else have a 1 second delay from the watch face to a menu [ e.g the first press of the start button for activities or going from watch to widgets ] , this is with a garmin standard watch face not a downloaded one , after the initial first button everything else is snappy fast but when i press it for the first time its a 1 second delay , its bugging me , also this is version 20.00

    I have this with 19.20 as well. From watch face to Activities there is a lag, but only for the first time. After that, it's faster.

    You should try with no Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled.

    The problem occurs when you deactivate them, otherwise everything is instantaneous.

    For example, try switching from the clock screen to the widgets screen.

    Hi, I have noticed this too and I think it might come down to which watch face you use. I set the same watch face as on @phillipshambrook's video and it is almost instant just like the video. But when I use a different face eg: Garmins "very own" Lachesis (light) there is a distinct lag.

    Which watch face are you using?

    I am using the standard watchfaces, and of course I have tried to change to the ones where there is less data as well.

    The problem persists, it only disappears if the bluetooth is activated or I am doing some activity.

    F6X with 19.20 and stock watchface, bt and wifi always on: lag when switching to activities, but not widgets. Maybe it has to do with how many/which widgets are enabled and how many activities are set as Favorite.

    I did some playing around. There is a lag when I set one favorite activity, but when i set multiple or none, it is almost instant.

    that looks pretty snappy , is it normal for the button to activate the light before the menu ? maybe im confusing this with lag , because our button response times are very similar

    Yes, i've noticed the same issue. 
    It concerns all typ of watchfaces (GARMIN standard watch faces and the downloaded ones). 
    I'm running 20.00 and no Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled.
    A 1 secound delay for the first time when will go from watchfaces to activitys or wigdets.

    This issue is not specific to the fenix 6. Here's my 945 LTE going from stock watch face to widgets, then back to the watch face. No CIQ watch faces or apps on this watch.
