Fenix 6 Series - 17.75 Public Beta

Hello Fenix 6 customers,

Our next beta version for the Fenix 6 series is now available! 

Please ensure that you are downloading the correct beta software for your specific device.

Instructions for installation are available below the change log on each of the above pages.

17.75 Change Log Notes:

  • Fixed issue with connecting ANT/BLE sensors when phone connection disabled via power modes.
  • Fixed issue with configuring map state. (Only applies to tactix Delta)
  • Other minor improvements and bug fixes.

Current beta peripheral software version numbers below. New versions are indicated in red.

GPS: 5.30
Sensor Hub: 8.00
ANT/BLE/BT (Pro models): 6.11
ANT/BLE (non-Pro models): 3.00
Wi-Fi (Pro models only): 2.60

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not compatible for APAC region devices.

    Hi, reply to myself...

    same thing happened at following charge today (after putting back the watch on the wrist, though sensor was nicely blinking in green and instant HR value readible on screen, watch would not record the trend - valid also for body battery and stress measurement). Apparently I have to reboot the watch after charge for these functions to come back functional.

    Additional thing I did not mention last time... during charge the "pie charging screen" froze, after 2 hours of charge was showing 56%, which did not look correct... unplugged and actual value updated to 95%, reattached to get to 100%, then on wrist, and HR, body battery, stress funtions behaving as described above...

    just thinking... could be some sort of power saver that kicks in, but does... kick out :D when I  actually unplug and wear the watch?

    last thing to mention, still on 17.74, not sure if anything updated in this detail on 17.75 but change log is not mentioning this stuff.

    Continuing to see issue where after a run selecting a walk my HRM Run disconnects after I start walk activity. It’s happening every single time. Fenix 6x

    Noticed a big uptick in consumption rate as well....was perplexed and noticed that pulse ox was turned back on.  I DID NOT enable it and had turned it off some time ago. Was able to scroll back and see that mid july it came back on!  I am assuming this is why my battery consumption changed.  Relieved to find that.

    Just reported Neo 2 speed sensor connected, but no data displayed during a Fenix 6X controlled erg workout. I disconnected and reconnected and removed and added again, but values remained at 0. Trainer control worked as expected and power and cadence were reported correctly. No idea where speed /distance data went.

    Do you have also a speed/cadence sensor installed in the bike and connected to the same Garmin device?
