Fenix 6 Series - 17.75 Public Beta

I got new Fenix 6x pro solar hardware last week as replacement for my defect F6x pro solar. Old one was @ 17.74 with very good performance. Only solar function was not working. Replaced by Garmin.

New one installed with 17.74 and had one run with it. Connected HRM Run, Stryd wind and Galaxy buds +.

No problem @all. Now I updated this week to 17.75 and had the first run today.

For the run I connected Stryd, HRM run and galaxy buds while hearing a book. Got 3 times disconnect of all connected sensors and the buds. I had to reboot the watch to get connection again. All connected devices disconnect at the same moment. First time dfuring pause while I had to bind the shoes new.

During around one hour run (3 parts ) with buds connected the watch consumed 20 % battery. During a night with pulse ox on it consumes around 4% within 12 hours. The old hardware @17.74 took around 5 % in one hour running.

Running is always with buds, stryd and HRM Run.

Are you using running power profiles? Especially ones with phone disconnected?

No I dont use power profiles. Never, for nothing. I install nearly all beta  since  7.xx or so and never had such an issue. First I thought the refurbished hardware is defective. But than I saw the disconnection issues reporter here.

Try restarting the watch. I run with Tempe, HRM Run and footpod and so far no disconnects. May be worth a restart just in case

Just saw you rebooted.... mmm any third party CIQ stuff?

Stryy zones app. Never problems with it since nearly 2 years.

Word. May be worth restarting the watch before the next run just to see if it kills whatever is hitting the battery?

With both current and previous beta turning on my inReach Mini doesn’t connect even while keeping the inReach widget visible on the watch. After minutes I had to switch to settings>sensors, find the inReach and force the connection, which happened in a second.

for information I had the SPO2 sensor which triggered by itself after an activity, created from the "yoga" profile (just renaming it "bodybalance") and I was able to do a DUMP and send the requested files to developers for bug analysis.

Hopefully they will finally find where it came from!
