Was an independent Fitness Age widget (not the V02 max measurement) supposed to be on the Fenix 6 Pro after the recent update. Only had the watxh 10 days, wondering if I have missed toggling something.

If you bought Fenix 6 you, automatically, are 20 years old! (c) Garmin, 2019
I read somewhere, that advanced fitness age is available for the Forerunner 945, but not the Fenix.
At last, Garmin have updated their support document to include the compatible devices:
…Mine went from 32 or so to 55.5. I'm 66. But the interesting thing is it says I've reached my 'achievable fitness age'. Does that mean I can't get better? Wouldn't a higher VO2 max lower it? I'm currently…

What does the strings from the APK has to do with it? The app is there to support a wide range of devices, some things are generic and others for specific devices.
Still, the only place where I can find fitness age is under Performance Stats->VO2 Max and it is the same as it always been.

Last time I checked this document a month or so ago, this information was not there.
I read somewhere, that advanced fitness age is available for the Forerunner 945, but not the Fenix. And you have a 945 too, right? So perhaps the data you see in Connect is based on you having a 945?
I believe this is the answer. I too own both watches and I also have Fitness listed under Health Stats.
Thanks, that makes some sense. I don't have a FR device. I understood that the Fenix line was the (non-Marq) flagship, so got everything available. I'll check with Support.

Well, that seems to be the expectation for many, but it's not the rule even though it's been repeated over and over on the forums. There are several little features found on other Garmin devices which isn't included in the Fenix line. It doesn't hurt to make a request though.

We are not sure if and when Fitness Age will be compatible with the fenix 6 series. The current beta software just adds the Perceived Effort feature. I was advised the Fitness Age likely will come to the fenix 6 series and variants of it eventually, but it will probably be a bit longer than the other feature.
So any news on when the Fenix 6 is getting fitness age? I have 19.20 but no fitness age except in the VO2 screen.
Or find a friend and just add a compatible watch to your account, once you have removed it you still get the fitness age, after you add your weight.
there is nothing on the compatible watches that drives this fitness information that can’t be got with a fenix, it’s purely software calculation on Garmin account and a business decision do to enable in connect for fenix users.
Here's a new one...after updating to 19.20 my fitness age has disappeared completely. It used to appear in the V02 max screen on the GC app, but now it just shows my V02 max and run estimates, no age. Any ideas?
