Hi,
for weeks I'm trying to setup my fenix to connect to my wifi without any success. I think I almost tried every possible solution incl. a ticket with Garmin (they proposed to replace the watch but I think this won't help).
My network is containing the following equipment:
Unifi UDM Pro
Unifi 24 port PoE switch
2x Unifi AC Pro
PiHole but deactivated during testing.
I created multiple wifi networks, with and w/o password, only 2.4 Ghz networks, legacy support for old devices and whatsoever. Every time I try to sync over wifi or to update the Spotify playlists, the watch tries to connect to the wifi but ends up in the message "No internet connection". However, in the unifi dashboard I can see that the watch is connecting properly (IP address is assigned and even some data is exchanged).
If I set up a hotspot on my phone (iPhone) the watch can successfully connect as well as sync. That's why I think it's not a hardware issue and a replacement wouldn't make sense.
I'll try the same with the wifi at my parents house (only FritzBox) to ensure that it's not the watch.
Does anyone here has a similar setup/ issues and hopefully has a solution or hints how I can approach and probably fix it?
