Hi
I've bought a new Fenix 6 Pro - WIFI connection on my previous Fenix 5+ always worked flawlessly, but I just can''t connect with the 6 Pro.
I'm in the UK and I have a Vodafone router, and a BT HomeHub5 that acts as a relay - I can't connect to either, the Fenix 6 sees the networks, but when it goes to connect it just 'spins' for 10 seconds then comes back with a can't connect message in Garmin Connect or a 'no internet connection' message on the watch and it throws up the password entry again.
I know I'm typing the passwords correctly - I've tried numerous times - every other WIFI device in the house can connect just fine.
Does anyone have any tips? WIFI is necessary for Music apps and uploads without BT, so is pretty vital functionality that seems broken :(
EDIT: I was able to solve this problem by going to my Vodafone admin page and 'splitting' the signals between 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz allocating a different WIFI SSID per band. I tried to connect to the 2.4 Ghz band only - this still did not work until I changed this from 'Mixed 802.11b/g/n' to 'Mixed 802.11b/g' - so it looks like the Fenix 6 Pro doesn't like the 'n' bit.
