Fenix 6 pro jlab epic air sport

When the watch and earphones are connected by bluetooth the connection keeps going off. Sometimes it can be for 1 second, sometimes it's 5 or more seconds. It can happen several times a minute or then only a couple of times in 5 minutes. This is extremely annoying when running. Does this happen to anyone else?

Hello I bought last year those headset and I have exactly the same issue. At the shop they were really so kind and they gave me a new Garmin and new pair of headset (I still have 2 years guarantee) but this did not solve the issue. Did you find a way to solve it?

Hi, sometimes it's headset issue, sometimes it's "garmin".

Using three different models/vendor of headset i have no issue. I'm using the latest 6.15 ANT/BLE/BT (Pro models) version on my F6Pro. I can share it with you for testing purpose. You can read the specific notes under the link below.

At my side, sometimes my Aftershokz does not connect at the first attempt and need to be power off and on again, and also restart the process on the watch. This was the only issue i encounter, with one of my headset.

Since i use this 6.15 i do not encounter this behaviour.

Hello thanks for the info. I do not have Fenix model but a vivoactive 4. I checked the status of my software and I have the 8.02 ANT/BLE/BT looks like updated version. Regarding connectivity it works all fine, the headset is connected in few seconds with my Garmin, but when I start an activity, after few minutes the music starts to going off for few seconds and than comes back.

Yes I tried to unpair them and pair them again. It will not solve the issue. I also have a very cheap pair of headset where I don't see any problems. It seems that there is a connection issue with jlab headsets. I will try to ask the shop for a refund.

Same issue with JLab epic air sport anc and Fenix 6x. Most of the time takes me 20 minutes of messing around trying to get them connected. Today went for run without my phone and it was useless. Music kept stopping but audio prompts for my training program still working. Shame as I like them both. I don’t even know what I did in the end paired them so many times!

Hi all. Late to this thread, but... I believe the issue is with the be aware settings in the headphones. It listens for ambient noise and auto pauses music when it hears things like traffic etc. In the phone app, there is a setting to turn off auto play/ pause sensors, and a sensitivity setting (slider) for be aware. I set that to the min. I had to do this with my phone as well and it fixed the issue. Not sure if these settings carry over when paired with the fenix, but I suspect this is the cause. No settings app available for the garmin if they don't. I did set the headphone controls so that a triple tap turns noise control on and off. I'll try that tomorrow.
