Lightning control - Display - After Sunset

Hello together,

recently bought a Fenix 6pro, like my old FR645 I wanted to adjust the lighting control,
unfortunately it seems that the setting "After sunset" has no effect with "Buttons"

Settings - System - Lighting - Not during activity - Buttons - After sunset.

Although the setting is set as above, my display will light up every time I press a button, even BEFORE sunset.

Can anyone confirm this malfunction?

I already tried a reset to factory settings, unfortunately without success.

What duration and brightness do you have? Is it bright enough to see? If low try a higher setting perhaps over 50% then check,

thank you, but my problem is not that the display is not lighting up.
i want it to be lit only after sunset, but this seems not to work.

Lighting is at 20% and the 8 seconds - so i can see it well

I understand but seeing 20% can be difficult unless looking at it in the dark. Sometimes with low settings it can be hard to see whether the light is on or not especially during the day when you don’t want it on. Setting a higher %age makes it very clear.

I found the issue - it was necessary to do a GPS sync.
Although the time of sunset was properly shown on the display.

yes - the "normal" time of the day and also the dime of sunset was correct...

Glad it's come right but can't see why a GPS sync would have 'fixed' it. No matter as long as it is working now.

Well, the watch needs to know where it is in the world, to know what time sunset is.

could it have anything to do with getting the correct sunrise and sunset times via gps?
