Backlight after sunset

It seems that the backlight after sunset (both for gesture and for button press) is borked. It doesn't seem to activate/work properly. It doesn't work more often than it does Worked fine on my Tactix Charlie. But my 6XPS seems to not want to play. I've checked the sunrise/sunset time and

I am not trying this during do not disturb or sleep times.

Any one else having the same issue? I tried syncing the phone with GPS and then with Phone but it seems to make no difference. Also tried rebooting the watch.

I'm on 4.20 and sensor hub 2.60 if it makes any difference.

I have mine set to after sunset during activity and all the time not during activity, and it has been working fine.

I am also on the latest official software.

If I have it set to 'On' so the gesture/buttons are set for all the time it works no issue. Just seems to be with the after sunset option it creates issues.

I have gestures turned off for everything. During activities, I have button presses turned on after sunset with no timeout (basically, it stays lit all the time after sunset), and not during activities I have button presses turned on after sunset, with a 30sec timeout.

All is working well - the light comes on at night when it should, and not during the daytime.

The only odd thing is when I receive phone notifications, the backlight always comes on regardless of the time of day. But the button press backlight works as it should.
