Headphones started disconnecting repeatedly after 12.20 firmware update!

I have a new Jaybird Vista and it was running absolutely fine with my Garmin Fenix 6X till the new firmware (12.20) got installed this morning.

Since then I went out for a run. The Jaybirds were paired with my Fenix like before. They got disconnected twice in the middle of a run all of a sudden. Reconnecting them worked a few times but then that too stopped a while later.

The earbuds are totally fine. I don't carry any other bluetooth device(no HRM, no phone) for a run.

If anyone else is experiencing this, I would love to know. This is happening since this morning after the 12.20 uodate , I repeat.

I've a Fenix 6X Sapphire, so I can only share ANT/BLE/BT update file for this modell, but if you have Fenix 6X Pro or Solar it's the same.

I've the same issue with my Jaybirds and many others. It was working flawlessly with previous firmware versions without a single droput or disconnect.

However it's not because of 12.20, it's caused…

not just jaybirds... my jbl headphones are doing the same thing. I hate to have to roll back software but that's what I might do.

Same issue here with my Jaybird Vista. Stops working in the middle of the run several times for no reason. In older Software no problem.

Garmin is introducing more and more bugs.

Same here. A lot of issues with my jaybird vistas after 12.10 update like everyone else.

Im really tired of being a beta tester for this company.

Rollback to ANT/BT/BLE 5.04 and everything will be fine again.
I know this isn't a real solution, but hopefully Garmin will wake up in a several weeks or months and fix it.

Or just throw in dumpster and buy another brand? Seems easier to me than having to troubleshoot myself without Garmin taking ownership.

Yes as I see in previous beta topic, BT 6.06 was introduced to 6/6X PRO so the same ANT/BT/BLE 5.04 will be fine.
