Garmin pay does not work on Fenix 6 sapphire

When you hold the watch to the terminal, after 10 seconds the terminal emits 3 signals and nothing else happens. It writes that it can not read the card.

Right, I'd recommend the following test...

(Though if you have a friend with an Android Phone, see if they can do the tap test and see if it does the same ... just tested on my wife's Android phone…

Have you tried it with another provider, i.e a different terminal.

Is Garmin Pay still showing your card on Garmin Connect?

Yes, I tried on other terminals. But the result is the same. I also reset to factory settings. Updated the firmware from 9.00 to 10.00 and also added and deleted different cards to the wallet.

Ok, I'll get to test mine (6 owner as well) and report back here. I keep a small amount of money on a seperate account for running drinks etc.

Occasionally mine plays up for a day, but on the whole it's been ok. I'm due a long run tomorrow so I'll treat myself to a nice cold drink first :)

Hi! I solved similar trouble with my Vivoactive 3. Everything worked fine but once simply stopped working - i enter passcode, card appears on the screen but shop terminal does not react on it. My solution was: 1) hard-rebbot the watch by holding the button long 2) delete all bank cards and enter them again in Garmin Connect mobile app. And it workes again just fine!
Thank you. Had same issue and this worked for me as well. Hold 15 seconds for reboot of watch and add card(s) to the mobile app. Tedious procedure and still unclear why it had dropped. But I am ready to shop again - oh no, all stores are closed due to a virus ??!!
