Abnormal quote gain in running activity. for spikes In the altitude profile?

My Garmin Fenix 6X pro in the last period is reporting absolutely abnormal quote gain during running activities of 10km or so.

I note that in these activities the quote profile is plenty of spikes which I guess is what sums up into enormous quote gain

in this profile I note that first minutes seems fine but then it starts spiking

does someone have the same problem? Just wondering if it’s some settings of the fenix or a problem on the hardware sensor

Hi Paolo, I have the same problem, but in Cycling activity; I write for my problem in this tread;

but no solution for now.

I hope in new fw, the problem is appeared from fw 9.0.

Hi Robb, thanks for the info! that's why it didn't appear in the past, yes probably it's from the 9.0 as it dates May. Did you open a claim to Garmin Support? hoping on the new FW which is coming, even if in the beta notes I didn't read anything around Altimeter fixes.

Hi Paolo, I'm not open claim to Garmin, i hope that Garmin solve problem in next fw release!
