  • Or just turn GPS off to get a base burn rate at each % block to see if that has the same variability

Thanks. I ran yesterday starting about 60%, and the rate was only 1.7% for that workout.

One of the reasons I was questioning this is that I've noticed how variable the standby percentage is - 40 to 30% is always very fast on this watch, and was on my previous F5, and as I mentioned before 100-90 is very slow.

  • I found bug in pulse oximeter. If I turned off oximeter and start oximeter widget, It seems that is measuring - widget writes measure, but nothing happened, only green leds are blinking. If I turn on oximeter, the red led turns on immediately and after few seconds I get the value. Does anybody has same problem?

  • I do not have this bug on my 6X Pro Solar with 8.74. Pulse Ox is always turned off, but the widget works on demand. It just takes a little while of keeping still. I can see the red glow even without lifting the watch from my wrist.

    Maybe try restarting the watch.

  • You was right! Restart helped. Thanks!

  • This bug was present also with 8.10 but is solved with version 1.11 of the widget. Have you downloaded it?

Now there is an "updating" message opening the widget.

That‘s interesting. With 8.10 everything was fine :-D

Version 1.11 of the widget is installed. Today the „Hydration Widget“ showed up with the value of yesterday and if I entered the widget it said „Sync“ and after this the widget started with the value „0“. I have never seen a message like you mentioned. I think the widget is not behaving the same way every day.

Yesterday I had to open the widget again after updating the value to synchronise the new value. Today the value was already synchronised after leaving the widget.

I will take a look the next days.

  • I updated to this beta only some days ago and I had the same issues also with 8.10.

If I checked the widget after midnight sometimes (non Always) I saw the value of the previous day and was not 0.

Now the widget seems to be ok at opening because after the sync message (sorry is sync not updating) the value is always correct but probably the issues is still present and the wrong value is in the widget glance preview.

About Sync after modification I confirm that there are some sync issues and sometimes you need to reopen it to sync but only if you need to have the value sync in real time. Probably if you wait some minutes will be ok. Please test it and let me know.

Anyway, I think are bugs of the widget and not of the firmware.

  • I also had HR issues but with this beta seams that something was improved. I had the issue indoor Cycling (without start  the activity) and Hiking starting activity but the first test I have done with 8.74 was ok.

Not perfect at all but better then 8.10.

I will install 8.75 and do more tests!

  • Does it fix the problems that HR get stuck at 200bpm and you have to restart the watch ?

  • Unfortunately not, I had the HR peak issue today the first time and I need to restart the watch. I installed some minutes ago 8.75 and I hope they solved it. I will update you in the other thread about 8.75.

With Allalin72 I was speaking about low WHR during Hiking, broadcas HR and in general out of activities...
