Wrong Time

After updating to 8.10 the time on my watch was wrong by 15 minutes. It's 2-3 times it happened. Does the watch loses time setting if it's charging or turn it off?

  • I am sorry your Fenix 6 is having a time slip issue. The advice and information others have given has been correct. If your watch time is off and your time settings are set to automatic, you can go correct the time in your Settings > Time menu, update it syncing to your smartphone, or connect to and acquire GPS. You should not need to update your time but rarely at best.

    Fenix 6x same thing here, time was off about 45 min.  Called customer service, told me to check the time occasionally and sync with the satellite.

    I asked them if I have to but another watch to keep track of this one.

    As long as the issue is not all the time. IE: a pattern over time developing. Not with every Instinct or Fenix watch that I own, but I occasionally have to acquire GPS satellites to update the time. However, it should be a concern if you are using the GPS on your watch regularly and your time slips often and develops a pattern.
