After updating to 8.10 the time on my watch was wrong by 15 minutes. It's 2-3 times it happened. Does the watch loses time setting if it's charging or turn it off?

hi,
to me, it is not normal to lose time when powered off.
the internal clock should provide a stable time stamp, even powered off.
something still is not quite ok on what you say.
The only time I've seen this is after taking the watch off the computer after an update from Garmin Express. The time then corrects itself after a connection to the phone or a GPS connection.
I've…
I am sorry your Fenix 6 is having a time slip issue. The advice and information others have given has been correct. If your watch time is off and your time settings are set to automatic, you can…
Where do you get your time sync? Your mobile device?
I connect watch with mobile android to sync only activities or daily data and I disconnect it.
I use BT to sync with an android phone and all works just fine. However, just guessing, after a major firmware update the watch needs to get a new update of the correct time. Once it get this and assuming no major updates that clear the time buffer, the watch happily keeps track. It is analogous to needing a quick GPS update to set time zone. Remember, I said I am just guessing. Since I maintain the BT connection, this never comes up on my radar.
If I turn off the watch for 15-30 minutes the time stops working while is off?
System> Time> Time Sync will allow you to update time either by GPS, or via your phone.
Do I have to do it every time I turn off/on my watch because it seems like that. When I turn it off for a while and then back on I don't want to sync via phone or gps every time. I don't use BT and for sure lot of times I won't have gps signal when I turn it off/on

I made a test:
meaning if Set Time = Auto, every time you sync with Garmin Connect, time will be synced as well.
so it is not mandatory to force a BT or GPS time sync from Time menu
if yours keep loosing significant amount of time when powered off could be something else....
just me,

I've just tested this with my F6 and a Marq athlete.Powered both off for around 30 minutes. Powered them on (made sure GCM was turned off) and both showed the correct time straight away.
If you are seeing a problem with the time being lost after a simple shutdown and restart then you need to contact Garmin Support. It should not happen.
15 mins off after updating with Garmin Express and soft reset after that. GPS time sync corrected the time.
It's a shame the watch got lots of problems after SW 8.10 :(
The problem is that it doesn't work even as a watch! I can't wear a watch that the time is incorrect!
