my Fenix shows no higher heart rate than about 110bpm without started activity. How should the abnormal heart rate high function work when a value of 140 bpm has been set.
Are there experiences?

ok thanks, but the problem is that the heart rate never really gets higher than 110/120 bpm if I don't start any activity.
Thank you for your help but i don't want to talk about heart rate problems in this forum anymore.
It’s sad really. The ‘my watch is perfect’ crowd wins. For me the WHR is far from perfect…
It is basically the question of how high the heart rate really is if I set it to 100 bpm.

I am concerned that the watch shows a pulse of 100 bpm when it is actually already at 150 bpm. But you shouldn't mention something like that in this forum
Then you are moving away from what appears to be a discussion abiout the abnormal heart rate alert that we’ve tried to help you with to a discussion about possible problems with the optical heart rate measurement on your watch. Something that is already being discussed in many other threads.
If you are sat down, immobile, inactive, doing nothing and your watch is telling you that you have a heart rate over 100 then you either have a physiological problem that you can check by taking your own pulse or your watch is delivering a wrong result. If the former, go see a doctor. If the latter talk to Garmin.
Simple.
My Fenix shows 170 BPM when I know I am at 120 BPM...
LOL , I was gently shadow boxing... very gently... so mine is super frantic !!
Which firmware version do you have? 8.10? If yes, do you have sensor hub 4.20 or 5.05?
Garmin dont care for our HR problems, they ignore us ant the problem.
But in long term when Apple or Samsung or other company Will bring watch with a week battery life, Garmin will see what ignoring is. And recession is comming so... they Will battle for customers. This is no way to deal with costumers and buyers.
Just sitting on my sofa, now.
Some minutes later:
Probably a good idea to wear the watch properly if you’re going to try to demonstrate problems.
So what isn‘t properly for you? Perhaps it is my mistake, behause I am not practiced with using Garmin wearables
From the manual:
Today I tested 8.78 with sensor hub 5.06. I will test 8.78 + 5.07 soon.
I tested only up to 140/145 but because in the past the result was really bad I am sure that now is very very better.
Had you received sensor hub 5.06 recently? Had you already tested it? With which beta?
it has worked better for me since 8.74 and Sensor Hub 5.06. Nothing has changed for me in the next versions.
