my Fenix shows no higher heart rate than about 110bpm without started activity. How should the abnormal heart rate high function work when a value of 140 bpm has been set.
Are there experiences?

ok thanks, but the problem is that the heart rate never really gets higher than 110/120 bpm if I don't start any activity.
Thank you for your help but i don't want to talk about heart rate problems in this forum anymore.
It’s sad really. The ‘my watch is perfect’ crowd wins. For me the WHR is far from perfect…
It is basically the question of how high the heart rate really is if I set it to 100 bpm.

If you are sat down immobile, inactive, not moving for 10 minutes plus are you really saying that your heart rate rate will go above 100 bpm? Because if you really believe that to be the case then you don’t need the alert. You probably need to seek medical advice now.
What’s you’re resting heart rate?
I am concerned that the watch shows a pulse of 100 bpm when it is actually already at 150 bpm. But you shouldn't mention something like that in this forum.
Then setting it to alert when above 140 would seem useless in your case.
Have you tried setting it to alert above 100? If so, did you experience a lot of false positive alerts?

Then don’t ask questions like these.
and people like you are the reason for that
Hi Hier, for me is the same, tested this morning with the 8.10. Have you already tried the new Beta 8.73?
yes, no change

It’s sad really. The ‘my watch is perfect’ crowd wins. For me the WHR is far from perfect and I’m not the only one. Garmin has started to moderate any post that say their WHR sensor is messed up. So I guess we’ll never get an official response and I guess they won’t be working on a fix anymore. Would be nice if they just communicated, that way a lot of people on here would be more than happy to help looking for a fix. Truly disappointing.

today I did a Freeletics workout. Took a rest, watched my heart rate: 139.... 137... 131... 129...
...suddenly the HR jumped to 80. I was just lying on the ground watching my heart rate...
it’s ridiculous. I don’t run without my polar OH1+, the f6 WHR destroys my statistics.
