Betas are voluntary so if you run into problems you have no one to blame but yourself. Well, you can blame Garmin but they didnt make you install it... a software roll out is supposed to be stable so better…
yeah full agree on rollouts for generic users. this is the safest way. and most of them just dont care about updates. if they come they will be noticed there was an upgrade. fine. _but_ there are more…

The reason they "roll out" the full release versions is so that if the update starts bricking watches, the problem is contained to a smaller percentage of users.
The beta updates are a free-for-all because relatively few people ever download them.
