Hi!
Got my new Fenix 6 sapphire today but it wont connect to my phone or computer, also tested my girlfriends Iphone but no luck there either.
On my phone its starts to connecting with Garmin connect and I enter the 6-digit code but shortly after it fails.
I plugged it to my computer and though I maybe need to update the firmware but there is says the it cant connect to the servers.
I have restarted both my phone and garmin, factory reset my fenix, cleared cache on my samsung s10e and everything I found on Internet, it wont work.
Hope anyone can understand this English and could help.

Same problem here. I actually made the mistake of resetting as the weather widget was not updating anymore. Now I can't connect my watch anymore - the sync screen is stuck at 50%. I also made the mistake to then reset the watch and removed it from Connect account... So now I have a brand new watch, lost all my settings and still can't connect. Quite frustrating for a €800 Euro watch.

It would at least be nice for Garmin to inform about this problem, BEFORE we do all the trouble shooting by ourselves :(

It is one thing to have a problem - this can happen and I am perfectly aware that I am working in IT Business as well - but what should never happen is to leave your customers in the dark - how big the problem might be in the end.
Therefore I can only hope that somebody from Garmin is talking to this channel and let us know what happened and what we as customer base can expect.

Someone in Garmin triaged this issue and decided not sever enough to move workforce to fix it during the weekend. Monday is public holiday in the US so the best we can hope for is a fix on Tuesday (which then need so be deployed etc. .. so Wed). O don't want to be negative just to set my own expectations.

Not that I agree with this approach .. as many wrote, this is a premium product and is greatly reduced value without the connect application.

If only there were some way they could quickly and conveniently do that... hang on... they have all of our email addresses, and they have an app on all our phones.  Wouldn't take much to send out a message like this.

Have you done factory reset? Or it was new device so you didn't have data in garmin app? Asking because I did factory reset so I lost data in watch but I can see it in the app, was wondering if it will be lost after syncing
