My new Fenix 6 Sapphire wont connect to any device

Hi!
Got my new Fenix 6 sapphire today but it wont connect to my phone or computer, also tested my girlfriends Iphone but no luck there either.
On my phone its starts to connecting with Garmin connect and I enter the 6-digit code but shortly after it fails.
I plugged it to my computer and though I maybe need to update the firmware but there is says the it cant connect to the servers.
I have restarted both my phone and garmin, factory reset my fenix, cleared cache on my samsung s10e and everything I found on Internet, it wont work.
Hope anyone can understand this English and could help.

    Thank you for this thread.  I’ve been doing everything under the sun and have exact same issue.  Gives me hope but so damn frustrating.  Garmin please get this fixed now!!

    samie issue just get my new fenix 6 sapphire and i can received notification from my phone tomy Watch but impossible to pair it , it start the pairing and after 50% it fails.  in my error message in the synchro report is : error domain=com.google.HTTPSstatus code 403 (null) …..

    I'm from Brazil and I just got a Garmin Fênix 6 Sapphire during a trip to USA last week. So this is an issue that occured specific this weekend or is it na issue since this model was launched? If it's related to this weekend...bad lucky for me, because I'm back to Brazil and I'm not sure if I'm able to return this from here. 
    But I'm facing the same issue, no sync with Garmin Connect (I've tried in my Iphone 8, Iphone 11 and also through a Android phone) and no sync with Garmin Express either (Server Error). 

    1) Is it a firmware issue?

    2) Is it a software issue?

    3) What is the relation of Garmin Cannect to the Garmin Express issue? 

    At the first time I tried to pait it with my phone, the app asked to the bluetooth code, the loading bar was in a half way and then black screen on the app...it just got freeze. After that all the sync error occured even before this black screen. 

  • Chris, while this update is great to know you are looking at the problem- is there any update? How should we expect communication about a resolution? I don’t want to have to keep coming back here and keep trying to pair over and over again - but will if that is the only option. Please step up your communication to your customers.

    I agree, Michael! At the moment we do not have any idea even if the issuee will be addressed! So how  could we know if we should return the F6 or wait for a solution (if there is some)...

    HI,

    got the same problem with a Fenix 6 Sapphire. Rebootet my iPhone, after that the watch didn't connect wit Garmin Connect. Pairing fails after 50%.

    I still get messages on my watch, so Bluetooth seems to work, bit Garmin Connect says, the watch is not connected.

    Rebootet all devices, reinstalled Garmin Connect. Didn't help, but wasted hours.

    Please know that we are aware of this issue and our Engineering and IT Teams our working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Note: the issue is 100% on our end and it is not an issue with your Fenix 6 series watch.

    Chris already said it is most likely a server issue. Authentication goes wrong as i can conform being blocked by cloudflare for excessive trying...

  • I used a different smart watch before. I did not have a single problem like watch software and application connection. When you give so much money, you expect to get a perfect watch. There is no information other than diagnostic about what the problem is now. I don't think I have to pay so much to learn about software problems.
