Hello! I'm the proud and very happy owner of a Fenix 6X Pro. I always use a Garmin HRM Run when I go out on a run and I have to always go into the menu and check if the HR strap sensor is connected and in use. Wouldn't it be possible for Garmin to add a little icon on the activity display where the heart rate is so that we know what source is being used for the heart rate measurements ? I used to have a Suunto Baro 9 and used it with their chest strap, Suunto had a very elegant solution.

I used to have a Polar M600 before and befor startin an activity the hr and GPS status was shown on the display. HR had a green circle if it was from the optical-hr and blue circle if the reading was from the strap. In my opinion this was good, easy to know HR was present and ok and the origin.
