How to stop Vibration? ( Fenix 6x V5.00 )

after upgrading to V 5.00 the watch vibrates for all kind of notifications although System>Sounds>Vibration is off.

VERY ANNOYING ! anybody else with the same problem ?

    I think this solution has too much of complexity involved for a simple functionality to disable the vibration  and sound. That I think, hopefully, Garmin would fix sometime in upcoming software releases. But in the mean while, to me the best solution is Do Not Disturb mode. You will not get a tone, vibration and light but you would still be able to see the notification on Watch screen.

    Just checked.  Vibration is still active in notifications when vibration is turned off in the system settings.  With most staff at Garmin HQ on hols for most/all of the past 2 weeks, I would have been extremely surprised to see a fix implemented this soon anyway.

    v5.75 and still no fix for vibration !! VERY FRUSTRATING !

    Just got a Fenix 6 Pro and having the same issue.  Did not have this issue with my old 5X.  I just got off a chat with Garmin support.  They told me they have requests in place to fix this (no time frame though)

    It may be me just being thick & not understanding what you are trying to do but if you go to Settings > System > Sounds where you have the options to turn on/off Key Tones, Alert Tones, Vibration & Key Vibe.

    Turning off the Vibration option turns off system vibration alerts for me & the light still works, which some have been complaining about by resorting to use Do Not Disturb

    If you want to change the vibration setting for Smart Notifications go to Settings > Phone > Smart Notifications > During Activity or Not During Activity > Sounds where you have the options for Tone, Vibration, Tone & Vibration

    Selecting Tone won't give me any Vibrations for Smart Notifications

    If you want to disable alerts for Smart Notification completely go to Settings > Phone > Smart Notifications > During Activity or Not During Activity > Notifications  where you have the options for Off, Show Calls Only, Show Calls & Texts & Show All

    which version do you have ?

    after V5.00 although Vibration option is off... the watch still vibrates on all notifications !
    Smart notifications settings don't have an option to disable Vibration.... you get Tone only, Vibration only or both !

    V5.77 same problem...

    V 6.00 and STILL THE SAME !...Vibration can be turned off only using Do not Disturb !

    V6.00. The setting above turns vibration off for alerts if you want to turn it off for notifications too you have to do it in the  smart notifications settings on the watch as I explained higher up in this post

    Tone only is NO vibration
